Etsy fee calculator
Etsy stacks four fees on a sale: listing, transaction, payment processing and sometimes Offsite Ads. Add them up before you set your price.
Every Etsy fee in one place
Each listing costs $0.20 and renews every four months or when it sells. When it sells, Etsy takes a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping and gift wrap, and payment processing in the US is 3% plus $0.25.
If the order came through Etsy's Offsite Ads, there is an extra fee of 15% for shops under $10,000 in yearly sales, or 12% for larger shops, capped at $100 per order. Larger shops cannot opt out.
Pricing digital and physical items
For digital downloads the postage and materials are zero, so most of the price is profit after fees. For physical items, put the real postage and the real cost of materials, then check the margin before you list.
